On here you will find a wide range of mini training modules and free to access and use with over 500 study units, spread across 12 subject areas.
The Study units on offer can take anything from 1-50 hours to work through. Each unit is classified into different levels ranging from ‘introductory’ to ‘postgraduate’ level.
All study units have clear learning outcomes. For many of the units the learner is invited and encouraged to participate in various activities and each have sample answers to help assess the learning achieved.

Learning How to Learn
For example, in the ‘Skills’ section there is a6 hour programme defined as ‘introductory’ level and focuses upon how we can learn more effectively. Whilst acknowledging that learning is something we engage in throughout our lives, we learn via different methods and approaches. The unit of study– ‘Learning How to Learn’ - aims for the learner to examine the process of learning in a much more explicit manner by inviting them to apply various ideas and activities to their own learning with the aim to increase personal awareness of our own learning.
The broad aim of the unit to provide a framework for learning-based activities and reflective exercises to;
· Think about and understand how you learn;
· Apply the ideas and activities in this unit to your own learning experiences;
· Learn how to become a reflective learner.
